This picture is specially chosen for our friend, neighbour, and supporter who is also an award winning film maker, Don Percy (see his TROPFEST video MAKEOVER)

The man in the photo is sewing the flags we made with the children in the salt pans. He was brought 40 km or so from the nearby village to this little hut, across the desert, with his treadle sewing machine on the back of a ute. And it didn’t seem that odd to him either!

As a film maker Don is only too aware of the MAKE DO part of MAKE DO TELL!
