Today is our final day in Nepal. The conclusion to our project MAKE DO TELL which ran over six weeks with street children and former street children and included time within schools that support and educate the these children.
We also had the great pleasure of returning to India and our friends in Gujarat.
We are grateful to the support we received from so many people to make this project possible. We hope you can see the effects of your contribution and feel good within yourselves that your contribution has made a difference in many lives.
We have shown you photos and explained some of what we were doing along the way – over the next few months we will be posting videos and stories which will tell a fuller story. We will also be asking if you can help some more!
We would like to acknowledge the tremendous work of the Unatti Foundation and Children’s Art Village in Bhaktapur, especially the amazing dedication of Ramesh Pradhananga and Neelam Shilpakar.
It has been a rewarding time for us. Being able to immerse ourselves in Nepal for this extended period has given us an insight into the culture, talents and the huge needs of a society struggling to emerge from a civil war and economic hardship.
